Pro Region Slovakia is a pioneer in commercial Internet use in Slovakia. Our current success has from the start been based on the now-proven prediction of falling technical costs and the rising value of information. As opposed to other providers, who invested heavily in technical infrastructure, we invested in complex information solutions. We offer technical support only as a a part of comprehensive information and marketing services, in cooperation with regional Internet providers. Our activities have a global nature, and this strategic entrepreneurial know-how is available to our clients.

The Slovak-wide real estate database , prepared in cooperation with the National Association of Realty Offices in Slovakia is an example of the sophisticated programming solutions which surpass the quality of all other domestic projects.

The Tatras National Park information system, at the address www.tanap.sk, and www.tatry.net is one of the most expansive solutions of its type on a world-wide basis. Its success lies in the complexity of services, including Internet access, which we offer to clients free of charge. The measure of success is the number of foreign tourists who have come for thousands of hotel nights. We also prepared the proposal for the information system of the Winter Olympic Games candidature of Poprad-Tatry 2006.

At present we are preparing further projects, such as the Slovak-wide tourist information system www.region.sk.
